The complexity of the phenomena involved requires scientific training advanced so that you can understand some of the most fundamental aspects of modern finance and to act in the markets in a relevant and responsible manner. The objective of the Probability and Finance Specialty is thus to provide students with high-level education in the field of mathematical finance.

Every Friday from the end of September until mid-March a seminar is held in the late afternoon to present the partner companies of the MASTER 2 - PROBABILITY & FINANCE Specialty. These presentations are for the speakers an opportunity to present their establishment, the research unit and their activity and then to develop their internship proposals.

Students who wish to prepare the speciality Probability and Finance of the Master 2 of Mathematics and Applications must : Fill the application form (from March 28 to June 28, 2024) on the school’s website through the platform eCandidat. Fill in and attach the 2024-2025 registration form to your application form. External candidates will have to create an account on eCandidat before registration imperatively before May 30.

Before starting the internship Internship form The internship form (.pdf , .docx ) is mandatory. It must be completed before the beginning of the internship and returned by e-mail to the Master’s secretariat, Yann Poncin. Development

The theoretical training provided in the first half of the year is supplemented by an internship in an establishment (bank, insurance, software company, etc.) with an activity directly related to the financial markets. This internship allows the theoretical elements acquired by the student to be confronted with the realities of the markets. These internships take place from April to September under the supervision of a internship supervisor, generally a member of a research and development unit, in conjunction with a university correspondent in the teaching team involved in the “Probability & Finance” Master’s program.
